Prince William was asked what makes him different, his honest answer will surprise you

Prince William

In a heartwarming moment during an anti-bullying workshop, Prince William, now 41, shared a candid insight into what sets him apart.

Prince William participated in an activity at Bournville College in Birmingham that motivated participants to describe what makes them special as part of a special project praising diversity.

The facilitator, British TV singing instructor Carrie Grant, was taken aback when Prince William wrote just the words, “I am very tall.” Grant said she was captivated by what the Prince would write and that she was expecting a response on his experiences, which included losing his mother, Princess Diana. But William’s immediate reply revealed a side of himself that few could identify with, providing an insight into the particular difficulties he encounters.

As he interacted with the kids, Prince William took part in all of the training, even picking up the rap “Record It, Report It”and listening to a poignant monologue on bullying by ten-year-old Shahzaib Ali Butt. Through these exchanges, he emphasized the importance of standing up against bullying and empowering young people to effect positive change.

The Prince’s more significant dedication to social causes is consistent with his support of anti-bullying activities. He endorsed a suggested “Stand Up Day” during the class and complimented the kids’ concept of using a blue ribbon symbol on social media to spread awareness.

Prince William’s response was hilarious

For the participants, Prince William’s sincere concern and compassion had a lasting effect. The leader of the charity’s anti-bullying initiative, Alex Holmes, praised the Prince’s involvement and mentioned his awareness of the problems that young people face in the digital age.

This endeavour expands upon the royal family’s prior involvement in anti-bullying campaigns. The organisation hosted a workshop in September that Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, attended. During the session, they talked about the significance of eliminating bullying in schools and communities.

Carrie Grant highlighted the Prince’s dual roles as a parent and a prince in her reflection on his involvement. Prince William’s readiness to pay attention and show compassion was evidence of his dedication to making the world a safer and more welcoming place for kids. The charity’s chief executive, Tessy Ojo, commended Prince William for appreciating both his individuality and the diversity of others. Understanding and compassion were principles that the Prince embodied by normalising differences and encouraging empathy.

Prince William’s historic decision: What it could mean for the monarchy

Prince William's historic decision: What it could mean for the monarchy

Prince William – who’s been trained to ensure the survival of the royal family – will lead a “changed” monarchy.

King Charles worried about Prince William and the future of the royal family.

The Prince of Wales, who’s one step closer to the throne, could break royal tradition with a key decision about his and Kate Middleton’s eldest son Prince George. Recently, royal biographer Angela Levin shared insights on a potentially historic decision by Prince William regarding his son, Prince George, which could significantly impact the royal family’s traditional roles.

A Break from Tradition? Historically, British monarchs have served in the armed forces, with the current king, Charles III, having spent time in both the Royal Navy and Air Force. This tradition has been seen as a rite of passage and a way to prepare future monarchs for their roles as heads of the armed forces. However, according to Levin, William might break from this tradition when it comes to Prince George.

In an interview with GB News host Eamonn Holmes, Levin revealed that William doesn’t necessarily want his son, Prince George, to serve in the armed forces. “He doesn’t feel it’s necessary,” Levin explained. This potential decision marks a significant shift in royal expectations and could redefine the monarchy’s relationship with the military.

A Modern Monarchy – Levin also suggested that William’s reign could bring other substantial changes. Unlike his father, who has a deep passion for religion and attends services regularly, William is less religious. “He does go once or twice a year. But he doesn’t have the same passion that Charles does,” Levin noted. This difference in religious fervour might influence how William approaches his duties as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

The Weight of the Crown – As Prince William prepares for his future role, King Charles III reportedly has concerns about his son’s readiness. An insider told Touch Weekly that Charles, battling cancer, often worries about whether William is prepared to take his place as king. This adds another layer of complexity to William’s anticipated reign, as he must balance his father’s expectations with his vision for a modern monarchy. Despite these concerns, William has demonstrated a strong commitment to his royal duties.

Implications for Prince George – If William decides that Prince George will not serve in the armed forces, it could have far-reaching implications for the young prince’s future. However, this decision could also reflect a more modern understanding of leadership. Prince William might believe that there are other ways for George to develop the qualities needed to be a successful monarch. By focusing on education, public service, and other preparation forms, William could ensure that George is well-equipped to lead without adhering to outdated traditions.

As the world watches the Prince of Wales’ journey to the throne, it is clear that his decisions will shape the future of the British monarchy. Whether it’s redefining military expectations for future monarchs or approaching his role with a modern perspective, William’s leadership will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact.

The Prince of Wales, William, recently shared insights into his cooking preferences and abilities.

As for whether he enjoys cooking? “I do like cooking, but I’m not very good. And someone told me this was a bake-off, not a mackerel-off,” he joked. “I was expecting to get some chocolate cake.” It has previously been revealed that William has quite a sweet tooth, and is a big fan of chocolate biscuit cake – so much so that he requested it for his groom’s cake at the royal wedding in 2011.

Former royal chef Darren McGrady told THE ROYAL UK that the Queen is also such a fan that its leftovers have been packaged up and sent to Windsor Castle so she can enjoy them over a weekend. “The chocolate biscuit cake is the only cake that goes up to the royal table every day until it has all gone – sometimes this means it following her to Windsor Castle for the weekend,” Darren told THE ROYAL UK.

“I remember as a young chef travelling from Paddington to Windsor one Friday morning with a half-eaten chocolate biscuit cake packed neatly and tightly in a biscuit tin, and wrapped in Clingfilm, perched on my knee with the fear of God in me that I would lose or drop the thing! It was her favourite. And when Prince William first tried it, he loved it and then requested it as his groom’s cake [at the Royal wedding in 2011].”
