Prince William has started relying on this royal member ‘in absence of Harry’

Prince William

Since Prince Harry stepped down from his royal duties and moved to the US, Prince William has turned to this royal member for support.

Prince William has created a very healthy relationship with Mike Tindall in the absence of his brother Prince Harry, a royal commentator claimed. Mike Tindall- Zara Tindall’s husband and a former rugby player- was seen with Prince George on Christmas day at Sandringham as the two families share a very strong bond.

Zara Tindall’s hubby was seen throwing an arm around Prince George on Christmas Day at Sandringham, indicating a close bond between the two families. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton also appeared on Mike Tindall’s podcast recently where he teased the duo about their competitive nature.

Royal commentator Dickie Arbiter said that since Prince Harry stepped back from his royal duties along with his wife Meghan Markle and moved to the United States, Prince William has turned to Mike Tindall for support.

“Mike is a pretty straight guy. He’s down to earth, and William is too. Put aside [William’s] role in state occasions, where he has to maintain a certain etiquette; the rest of the time, if he goes to a rugby or football match he’s in there cheering with the rest of the fans,” he said.

Both Prince William and Mike Tindall are “pleasant guys”, as per the royal expert who explained, “We’ve seen [this] time and again in William and Mike’s interactions. They are a proper family. They’re not playing at it. They are two peas from the same pod, they’ve just had different upbringings.”

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward suggested that Mike Tindall’s attraction to Prince William is through his down-to-earth nature.

“Mike Tindall has that sort of sportsman companionship that would especially appeal to William, who was once a wild boy himself. Mike gets more amusing under the influence of alcohol and can be totally outrageous. William cannot do this anymore as he is too aware of his responsibilities. But he can live vicariously through Mike,” the biographer said.

Royal fans are curious about the title Carole Middleton will get when William becomes King

Carole Middleton

Carole Middleton has been a huge support to her daughter, famously helping orchestrate her marriage to the future King.

As a royal fan have you ever wondered what title Carole Middleton will get when William becomes the King?

If you’re wondering what Kate Middleton’s mother’s royal title will be when William takes the throne, you might be disappointed. There’s increasing chatter about the next chapter of the British royal family as the 75-year-old King Charles undergoes treatment for an undisclosed kind of cancer. The monarch immediately began treatment, and in the months since, there has been much speculation about how his condition has progressed—with some sources even claiming that his health is “not good.”

Royal expert Katie Nicholl hit back against these reports. “There have been claims in some media outlets that the king is not doing well in his cancer battle. I think the announcements out of the palace and… the king’s imminent return to public duties should stop such nonsense in its track, quite frankly,” Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. Though as the Kind’s eldest son, William will become king eventually, which means Catherine will be queen. Here’s what that means for Kate Middleton‘s mother’s royal title.

Kate Middleton’s mother won’t get a royal title, according to reports, quite simply because she’s not a royal. Per the Royal Family website, the monarch is the “fountain of honor” in the UK and has the “sole right” of conferring titles of honor. However, it’s understood that new hereditary peerages are typically only granted to members of the Royal Family.

Carole won’t receive the title of Queen Mother, either, because that is reserved for someone who is the mother of the current monarch and the widow of the former King. The last Queen Mother was Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the mother of Queen Elizabeth II and wife of King George VI.

Even Queen Camilla won’t receive the title if she is widowed when Prince William ascends to the throne, as she’s not Prince William’s mother. She would, however, become a Dowager Queen or Queen Dowager should Charles pass away during his reign.

Carole and her husband Michael are said to be facing serious debt that they are reportedly unable to pay off. According to The Times newspaper, the couple cannot come up with the “£260,000 (over $329,000) insolvency firm costs” for their struggling business, The Party Pieces Company. The company, founded in 1987 by the Middletons, went into administration last June, owing creditors £2.6 million.

According to insiders quoted in Us Weekly, Carole is trying to protect her daughter from the family’s money woes, with the desire for Catherine to focus solely on getting better. “Carole is desperately trying to keep Catherine fully focused on her recovery,” a source told Us.

“It’s a very worrying time for the family but they are not looking for any assistance from their children and don’t want them to worry.” The source continued: “Catherine and her parents are very close and they always check in with each other, but talk about the business is off limits as she needs to focus on her health.”

Prince Harry and Zara Tindall during ski trip

Prince Harry and Zara Tindall during a ski trip

Family ski trip – The Duke of Sussex and his cousin Zara appeared to have a blast as they hit the slopes in Switzerland during a family ski trip. Harry has been a regular on the slopes since a young age – and his enjoyment for the sport was clear to see as he took a T-bar lift alongside his cousin whilst wearing a bright yellow ski jacket and a paisley print red bandana.

Patriotic pair – Zara and Harry flew the flag for England in 2011 at the RBS 6 Nations Championship match between England and France. From their spots in Twickenham Stadium, the rugby enthusiasts got into the spirit of things as they donned matching flat claps emblazoned with the flag of England. And if their faces are anything to go by, the royal cousins had a hoot of a time.

A shared laugh – Zara stood by Prince Harry and Meghan’s side at the National Service of Thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Having flown in from their home in Montecito, California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to relish their time mingling with the likes of Zara who looked fabulous for the special occasion in a Barbie pink coat dress and a clashing fuschia floral headpiece.

King Charles III

Prince William made a small request from Carole Middleton before King Charles’ coronation

Prince William

Prince William had one “small request” before King Charles’ Coronation, and it involved his mother-in-law Carole Middleton, a new royal book has claimed.

‘Insistent’ Prince William’s demand for Carole Middleton at King’s Coronation

The book, Charles III: The Inside Story by Robert Hardman, states that William wouldn’t budge on his demand over the attendance of Kate’s family and how they would be included on the big day.

The Prince of Wales was reportedly so adamant that there was no choice but to grant his request And in Hardman’s view, this decision shows just how much things have really changed within the Royal Family since the start of the late Queen Elizabeth’s reign, which lasted 70 years.

The author wrote that Prince William made a “direct request” that the Middleton family be in attendance and seated in a pretty high-profile position. Hardman noted that this was in direct contrast to some of the old guard of the extended Royal Family, with the Queen Mother’s family – the Bowes Lyons – having only two members there to represent them.

Also read: Kate’s ‘household rule’ is so strict George, Charlotte and Louis can’t break it.

The journalist also pointed out in the book that the Mountbattens – Prince Philip’s family – were only represented by Countess Mountbatten, with other relatives left off the guest list entirely. Even Lady Pamela Hicks, one of the former members of the Royal Household under the late Queen, got snubbed.

However, Michael and Carole Middleton, as well as Kate’s two siblings – James and Pippa – were invited to the big day that officially marked the start of the new reign.

This was a “direct request from the Prince of Wales himself,” Hardman wrote, quoting an anonymous source saying: “‘Having all of them there was very important to him… he was absolutely insistent that his wife’s family be properly included.'”

Hardman says that this encapsulated just how much the Royal Family had changed since Queen Elizabeth’s own Coronation in 1953 when it had been controversial that the Mountbattens played an influential role in the monarchy. “Such are the shifting sands,” the book reads, “that, seventy years on, the Middletons outnumber the Mountbattens four to one.”

It has long been reported that King Charles is keen to adopt a slimmed-down monarchy – in line with many of the other European royal houses. This would mean fewer working royals, who are funded by the taxpayer, to ensure that the House of Windsor is as inexpensive for the public as possible – and in line with the modern world.

The fresh claims come after the Middleton family was recently dramatised in the final series of Netflix’s The Crown, in a depiction of Carole in particular which one member of their extended family decried as “evil”.

Princess Eugenie’s son August looks just like baby Prince Harry

Prince Harry

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s son has the same type of hair and looks as baby Prince Harry.

It’s always intriguing to see which members of a family will look alike. The same is the case with Prince Harry and Eugene’s child.

Last week Princess Eugenie was seen in Jamaica.  She kicked off 2024 with a glorious trip to Jamaica with friends. The Princess also appeared in new pictures shared by American influencer Hannah Bronfman’s husband Brendan Fallis. In one photo, Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were posing on the steps leading from the house to the beach, along with four other couples and everyone’s children.

Ernest sat on Jack’s lap, with Eugenie tickling the baby’s cheek on the left side of the picture while August, two, stood with children his own age wearing a green tee in the middle of the group — and the young royal looked like a spitting image of his cousin uncle, Prince Harry. It offered fans a rare look at Eugenie and Jack’s son, who sported a striking resemblance to Prince Harry (as a child)

The family resemblance did not go unnoticed by fans. Amid the messages, one commented: “Is it just me or does Eugene’s son look just like baby Prince Harry?!!” and another replied: “I thought the same. Just like young Harry.”

Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry have a close relationship

It’s amusing that of all the royals to look alike, Eugenie’s son looks like Prince Harry. The close connection between Harry and Eugenie is a well-documented one, even now that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are no longer working members of the royal family. Eugenie and Jack got married at the same venue that Harry and Meghan did, only five months after the Sussexes tied the knot.

Even though Harry and Meghan now live in the States, his relationship with his cousin is still close. Last September, he and Meghan stopped in Portugal, where Eugenie and her family live part-time, for a few days, presumably to spend some time with them.

“They’re still the best of buddies and talk regularly,” a source told People last year about Harry and Eugenie, as well as her sister Princess Beatrice. During King Charles’ coronation, Harry was noticed with the sisters and their husbands while Meghan stayed at home with their children.

Eugenie welcomed her second child in May 2023, with the 33-year-old royal releasing a statement on Instagram announcing the birth.  “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs,” she shared. “He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”

Ernest is the first royal baby born under the rule of King Charles III, and the King will have been one of the first family members to learn of the birth. Eugenie’s little boy is Charles’ great-nephew and is 13th in line to the throne after his big brother, August.
